JRP Window Cleaning

Service Agreement

Effective January 1, 2026

This Service Agreement is entered into by and between JRP and the undersigned client. By scheduling and accepting services from us, the Client agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Scope of Work

We agree to provide window cleaning services as detailed in the provided estimate or invoice. Any additional services requested on-site that are not included in the original estimate will result in an adjusted final price.

2. Payment Terms (Due Upon Completion)

Immediate Payment Required: Payment for all services is due immediately upon completion of the work on the same day of service.

Accepted Payment Methods: We accept Cash, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal.

Late Fees: Any invoice remaining unpaid 24 hours after service completion will be subject to a one-time $20.00 Administrative Late Fee to cover the administrative cost of account management and payment collection efforts.

3. Pre-Existing Conditions & Inspection

We will conduct a basic inspection of the windows prior to beginning work.

We are not liable for any damage caused by pre-existing conditions. This includes, but is not limited to: cracked or chipped glass, rotted wood or water-damaged frames, compromised window seals (causing fogging), brittle vinyl, or improperly installed/secured windows.

4. Limitation of Liability for Accidental Breakage

In the event that we accidentally break a window as a direct result of negligence or operator error, our liability is strictly limited to the direct cost of replacing the broken glass pane to its original standard, up to a maximum of $500.00 per pane. Any costs above this amount are the client's responsibility.

We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as temporary loss of use of a room, perceived loss of business revenue, or upgrading the glass to a higher quality than original).

5. Fabricating Debris & Scratch Disclaimer

The Client acknowledges that certain types of glass (specifically tempered glass) can possess manufacturing defects known as “fabricating debris.” These microscopic imperfections can cause the glass to scratch during standard, industry-approved cleaning methods.

We are not liable for scratches inherent to the quality of the glass, or for scratches resulting from the requested removal of heavy construction debris, paint, tape, or stickers.

6. Access and Preparation

The Client agrees to provide us with clear access to all windows being cleaned. This includes moving furniture, fragile decorations, and clearing pathways both indoors and outdoors.

We are not responsible for damage to items left in front of windows that obstruct the workspace.

7. Damage Notification Window

The Client must inspect the work upon completion. Any claims for damage or dissatisfaction must be reported to us in writing (via email or text) within 72 hours of service completion. We reserve the right to inspect any alleged damage before any repairs are authorized.

Failure to report damage within this 72-hour window releases us from liability or obligation to repair.

Client Acknowledgement

By signing below or authorizing work to begin, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms outlined above.

JRP Window Cleaning

Window Protection Policy

Effective January 1, 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Purpose

JRP Window Cleaning is committed to providing professional, high-quality service on every visit. This Window Protection Policy has been established to clearly define our responsibilities and obligations in the unlikely event that accidental damage occurs to a client's window or glazing during the course of our work.

We take the utmost care on every job. However, we recognize that pre-existing conditions, manufacturing defects, or unforeseen circumstances can occasionally result in damage during the cleaning process. This policy ensures our clients are treated fairly and transparently when such situations arise.

2. Scope of Coverage

This policy applies exclusively to damage that is directly and demonstrably caused by JRP Window Cleaning personnel during an active service appointment. Coverage is limited to glass panes, window seals, and glazing components that are damaged as a direct result of our cleaning process or equipment.

This policy does not apply to:

  • Windows with pre-existing cracks, chips, failed seals, or structural damage noted prior to service
  • Damage resulting from circumstances outside our control (e.g., severe weather, third-party activity)
  • Screens, frames, hardware, or window treatments not directly involved in the cleaning process
  • Windows that were not accessible or visible for pre-service inspection

3. JRP Financial Responsibility

In the event of a valid claim under this policy, JRP Window Cleaning agrees to cover the documented cost to repair or replace the damaged window pane or glazing component, as quoted by a licensed glazier or window contractor of the client's choosing, up to a maximum of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per claim.

We stand fully behind our work. If we break it, we'll pay up to $500 toward the repair, no questions asked. Any documented cost above $500 is the client's responsibility.

4. Claim Procedure

To file a claim under this policy, clients must adhere to the following process:

  1. Report promptly. Damage must be reported to JRP Window Cleaning within 48 hours of the service appointment via phone or email.
  2. Provide documentation. Clients must supply photographic evidence of the damage and a written quote from a licensed contractor for the cost of repair or replacement.
  3. Allow inspection. JRP Window Cleaning reserves the right to inspect the damage in person prior to approving a claim.
  4. Receive payment. Upon approval, JRP Window Cleaning will issue payment for the verified repair or replacement cost, up to the $500.00 maximum per claim, within 14 business days.

5. Limitations

JRP Window Cleaning's liability under this policy is capped at $500.00 per damaged pane, covering verified repair or replacement up to the original standard of the glass. Any verified costs above this amount are the client's responsibility. This policy does not constitute an admission of negligence and does not supersede any applicable state or local law.
